Frequently Asked Questions

How is coaching different than therapy?
Coaching is a practice with the aim of helping clients determine and achieve goals in their life or business. Coaches use multiple methods that will help clients with the process of setting and reaching goals. Coaching is not targeted at psychological illness and coaches are not therapists, nor mental health professionals.

So, exactly how does coaching work?
With one on one coaching, a coach will work with you to create specific goals and determine action steps to take to achieve the goal.  In each session progress will be monitored.  The coach acts as an accountability partner, sounding board, motivator, mentor, teacher and leader. By listening carefully, mirroring what the client says, and helping the client to clarify thoughts and actions, the coach will work to help the client move past limiting beliefs and achieve goals.

What type of goals have your clients had?
Increasing/gaining self-confidence
Becoming more organized
Increasing time management skills
Starting a business
Adjusting to change
Establishing business goals
Work/Life balance
Creating more passion
And much more

Where do we meet?
Most coaching is held over the phone, therefore it doesn't matter where you are.  If you are within Central Florida coaching can be in person at an additional cost.

How much does it cost?
Coaching (by phone) is $99 per one on one session, although there are great discounts for coaching packages. Group coaching is also offered throughout the year for those seeking an even more economical coaching option.

How long does coaching last?
That is entirely up to you.  There are no contracts.  Once you have reached your desired goal you may decide to discontinue coaching or start working on a new goal.

How does payment work?
Payment can be made by check, credit card, or PayPal.

Is it tax deductible?
Business coaching is usually tax deductible, however be sure to check with your accountant.  Life coaching is not typically tax deductible, but once again, check with your accountant.

How do I get started?
1. Complete the coaching survey
2. Schedule a complimentary coaching session
3. If you connect with the coach, hire the coach
4. Meet with your coach by phone 3-4 times per month for approximately 45 minutes
